We recommend washing the Kushel Towel at a cold wash or 40° degree after every 5th use.
Avoid fabric softeners and bleaching liquids as they will coat the fibers and reduce absorbency. Keep your towels away from household cleaners or cosmetic products that contain benzoyl peroxide or alpha hydroxy acids.
Do not wash the towels with rough textiles, such as jeans or wool products because the tension between the products can lead to piling. If a loop is snagged, just cut it with a scissor - please resist the urge to pull it.
Please wash the blanket in the wool program. The blanket absorbs a lot of water during washing; we also use the wood fibers for our towels. We recommend spinning the blanket after washing and drying it in a dryer on low setting for up to 20 min.
With each wash the soft pile will change a little, this is a characteristic of all textiles made of natural fibers. We have deliberately chosen not to add fibers made from polymers, as these would cause microplastics in the wash water with each wash.
